Fort Vale are pleased to announce that our former colleague Ton Stam will re-join us as our new European Sales Manager. Ton has a wealth of experience regarding Fort Vale and also externally within the industries we supply.
Ton will work directly for FVUK but be based in Europe, reporting to the European Sales Director and Managing Director. He will be responsible for developing customer relationships and growing business with the lessors, operators and builders across our various markets. Ton will also be tasked to generate aftersales business for the UK and where appropriate, pass on leads to the Fort Vale BV office.
This is an external sales position and will strengthen the presence of Fort Vale UK in mainland Europe. Being based in mainland Europe and with BREXIT in mind this role demonstrates the customer support that the UK head office wishes to extend to our European customers.
Ton will be joining the business on the 1st May 2019. Upon his initial commencement, he will spend time in both Europe and the UK to re-familiarise himself with our products and customers. He will then work mainly mobile throughout Europe selling FV products and developing and strengthening relationships with customers and decision makers within the industry.
