Internal Apprentice Awards 2019

On Wednesday 22nd January we held our annual Fort Vale Apprenticeship Awards. Presented by Innovations Director Andrew Bryce, internal awards were given for most progress, workplace performance and Apprentice of the Year. Certificates were also presented to those who completed their Apprenticeship last year.  This years’ competition was as strong as ever! The three judges have commented that there were so many worthy winners, it was difficult to pick just one. In two instances there were joint winners and there could have been even more!

Fort Vale have been committed to the training and development of apprentices for over 50 years. We currently employ 25 apprentices undertaking Apprenticeships in CNC Mechanical Manufacture, Welding and Fabrication, Mechatronics Maintenance, Tool Making and Business (Administration, IT, HR, Accounts). There are a further 78 current employees, who have also completed the Apprenticeship programme, many of whom are currently in senior management positions.
