As an apprentice foundry technician you will be trained in all aspects of investment casting processes, from pattern & mould production, to casting and testing of finished products.

During your apprenticeship you will be involved in highly skilled, complex and precision work.  To help you develop your overall skill set, you will experience all of our machining areas and will spend time in our assembly and inspection departments to give you an in-depth knowledge of our products.

Apprenticeship Details

►Job Title: Apprentice Foundry Technician
►Apprenticeship: Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Metal Casting, Foundry & Pattern Making
►Expected duration: 4 years
►Entry requireme­nts: A minimum of 4 GCSE’s at Grade 4 with a preference of Grade 5 in Maths, English and Science.
►Location: Simonstone, Lancashire
(First year is spent at a selected training provider, off site).
►Hours of work: 38 hours per week between
